Papadopoulos Odisseas studied Chemical Engineering in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed his MBA studies with specialization in Finance in the Imperial College of University of London. He is an experienced professional in the business environment and has worked in significant functional and administrative positions.
Primarily, he dealt with Research at the Chemical Process Engineering Research Institute, today’s Center for Research & Technology, in the polymers-plastics’ sector. He was the Flour Business Unit Director of ALLATINI S.A. for many years, being before Assistant Purchasing Manager, Exports, Sales and Technical Director. He was also Operations and Manufacturing Director of Nutriart SA, General Manager of DFH Bulgaria, subsidiary of Druckfarben Hellas, and Commercial Director of K. Sarantopoulos Flourmills. Moreover, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Flour Millers of Greece and of the Panhellenic Association of Bakery Industries.
Today he is the CEO of EURIMAC S.A. The company emerged from the Joint Venture between the historic Greek pasta company MAKVEL SA and the Italian rice and flour group EURICOM SPA. EURIMAC-ΜΑΚVΕL operates under the principles of innovation and sustainability, possesses an important position in the Greek pasta market and shows a significant exports’ activity in all 5 continents.
