I was born in Thessaloniki in 1956. I studied law at the law school of the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki an I have a master at penal law. I worked as a lawyer from 1981 to 1989, when I became member of the judiciary and I am now serving as member of the Supreme Court. I was member of the board of directors of the scientific union ENOBE and elected member of the governing committee of Thessaloniki’s Court of Appeal. I participated as a lecturer in several seminars and I published essays in scientific magazines. I was tutor at the National School of the Judiciary (methodology on labor law cases) and director of the direction of studies of civil and penal procedure at the same school.
